Carenado TBM850 G1000 Detail!

FSX. Carenado has released several new pics from their upcoming Socata TBM850 project. The latest previews specifically depict the new G1000 flight plan feature! Looks very promising indeed, let's just hope it will be manageable resource wise. Take a closer look inside.

Damn she looks nice but please, PLEASE dont be a frame killer!!! My SR22GTSx still sits beautifully in the hangar... Sigh...

I cannot wait for this release!!! The TBM 850 is a gorgeous aircraft. Wish I could own one in real life! Nonetheless, I have several flights planned already for this one as soon as Carenado pulls the trigger.

The SR22 seems to have only been a frame killer by using the "terrain" setting on the MFD, but yeah - with all that glass up front, the potential is always there for a framerate hog.

I hate to state the obvious (to me anyhow) but isn't flight planning pretty much useless without an updateable AIRAC? Hopefully Carenado decides to go with that for this plane (and going forward)...

Are they going to patch the 182t and sr22 to do this as well?

That would be a nice feature/update for both the 182T and SR22.

I don't know, but for what it's worth, it seems Carenado has been releasing (in orders of magnitude) GA aircraft with greater speed and avionics complexity. I'm seriously on edge thinking about what could be after the TBM release. I know the Stationair is on deck (and IMHO an inferior aircraft when positioned against the TBM), but I'm wondering.....only wondering if they will cross the bridge into hi-flying, high speed GA turbojet aircraft of any variety???

Thanks for the input.
Do you happen to know how advanced their G1000 simulation is ?

p3.

Let me turn off the terrain. I didn't think about that.

Not very. Before this, you couldn't input a flightplan on the fly; you could only do direct. You can load a multiple leg flightplan through FSX though. No updated navdata such as navigraph or aerosoft's. No complicated approaches such as RNAV or WAAS LPV. Flight1's G1000 in the Mustang and 182T is better. Navdata can be updated and waypoints edited on the fly. WAAS works as well. The carenado 182t visuals are better though. If carenado applies this update to the 182 I think that will be the one to get. The Mustang is still boss though. THE personal light jet for FSX. Flight1 has the awesome 30 day money back guarantee if you don't like it. The Flight1 182T is $10 off right now too; expires today!
