FS9/FSX. Here's a novel idea..have your real life home modeled and accurately placed in flight simulator... Well, that's now possible thanks to AFDG (African Scenery Development Group). My only question...how many times can you fly over your own house to make this worthwhile? Read more and check out some renders inside.
In addition to modeling and correct address placement, the service provides area elevation data and photo real ground textures (if available). You must provide images of your own home - presumably, the better images you provide the better the model.

Would make more since if you wanted a skyscraper or highrise made...
And I don't like that the available previews don't include colored textures...
Suppose it will help some get their own place in FS - although with google sketchup and other tools - it's interesting to do it your self if you can invest the time. Would be more credible if the vendor showed a bit more of their actual completed work...
Agreed, they have provided several very superficial examples of their work without any real "this is what you get" type previews. Seeing an actual shot in flightsim would be nice...
